El Peso team is pleased to announce their participation in the esteemed Alpe Dunav Jadran Exhibition once again. This highly anticipated event is organized by KŽMZ and will be held in the spacious exhibition hall of the Family Mall shopping center. It is noteworthy that this year, the venue has been expanded to accommodate the growing interest and increasing number of participants. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from May 9th, 2025 to May 10th, 2025.

The Alpe Dunav Jadran Exhibition has firmly established itself as a cherished tradition within the community, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the region. El Peso at Alpe Dunav Jadran 2024 Exhibition

Once again, the El Peso team participated in the Alpe Dunav Jadran Exhibition, an annual event that continues to grow in size each year. This year, over 15 very large modular layouts were showcased at the well-known Family Mall shopping center in their spacious exhibition hall. The local model railroading club, KZMZ, not only organized the event but also marked its 55th year of operation.

El Peso at 2nd Dutch US Convention!

Preparation and trip

Our preparations for the US model railroad convention in the Netherlands proceeded smoothly, although we did need to put in some additional effort in the weeks leading up to the event.
The journey covered over 1200 kilometers one way, so our plan was to depart on Thursday afternoon, stop halfway for the night, and then continue our journey in the morning. Our aim was to arrive in Ulft before 10:00.

Preparing for the Exhibition: Setting Up El Peso Modules and Testing Train Operations

During the initial day of preparation for the latest El Peso setup, we transported the modules to the exhibition hall and proceeded to unpack them from their transport frames. Afterwards, we positioned each module onto its respective feet. Simultaneously, the other teams were working on their own layouts in close proximity to us. These preparations were to be completed during the next two days leading up to the exhibition’s commencement.

El Peso Gears Up for Largest-Ever Model Railroad Exhibition in Zagreb Familly Mall

The El Peso team is gearing up for a new exhibition called “Alps – Danube – Adriatic,” which will be hosted by the Zagreb Model Railroader Club (KŽMZ) from May 19, 2023 to May 21, 2023. The exhibition will be held at the Family Mall, a large shopping center in the City of Zagreb, in Pavillion 1, which spans a massive 1200m2. El Peso’s Southern California Model Railroad Layout Showcased in Zagreb Exhibition

Following two successful exhibitions in Germany, the El Peso team finally had the opportunity to showcase their layout in their homeland of Croatia.
On Friday, May 31, 2019, at noon, an exhibition was officially opened. It serves to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Model Railroad Club “Zagreb”. Conviniently, it is held at the Technical Museum “Nikola Tesla” in Zagreb. As current or former members of the Model Railroad Club “Zagreb,” the El Peso team made a significant contribution to the exhibition’s success, which ran for little over two weeks.

US Modellbahn convention in Rodgau – 2017

After a great debut at the 2015 Convention, we promptly committed to registering as exhibitors for the next event. The convivial ambiance and captivating exhibits were irresistible. However, the organizers had imposed a stringent condition: our layout must consist of no less than fifty percent new content to be eligible for the exhibition.


With that in mind, we promptly set to work on developing fresh modules.
