Grade crossing planks have been given brown wash (Vallejo) in two coats and after that we started ballasting using grey ballast (Noch 09374).
Road was leveled with surrounding using plain plaster.
After applying ballast itself, it was sprayed with alcohol and soaked in a white glue mixture (1 part glue, 3 parts water). After letting it dry overnight we vacuumed all the loose ballast (and there was just a little bit of it).
