Only two weeks left to the convention and lots of things to do…
Oli built speeder shed for his station module out of cardstock and plastic windows and doors. After that he started his stock pen which will be built from Campbell kit, modifying it to fit available space.
Dubravko brought his corner module for final connection and test. He also build some narrow gauge bridge remains that were built from burnt strips of wood. We tested his sound and smoke effects (on mine shaft in canyon). Davor put some final touches on its ground cover.
Boki placed the mine on Davor’s corner module which was scratch built from wood strips and small engine house is plastic house from unknown kit that has been painted and weathered to match the mine. Small, hand powered turntable is placed beside the mine. It was built from styrene sheet covered with wooden strips and weathered. Niko made narrow gauge bridge abutments out of blue foam, carved the stones and painted it. Boki built a bridge (in pony truss style) and installed it on abutments. Later, Davor touched up details where bridge connects to landscape.
Dubravko built protecting surfaces from foamcore for the modules that have exposed blue foam landform material (outer hills).
