Los quirópteros canyon

Module name: Los quirópteros canyon
Dimension: 80x80cm
Type: Corner module
Gauge: Standard + Narrow (nonfunctional)
Description: Corner module with a tall trestle

This module is much deeper than the rest of them and i mostly canyon with some dry creek going through it. There are also remains of narrow gauge line that one time crossed the canyon near the standard gauge trestle. Since that time narrow gauge bridge had collapsed. There are also burnt remains of narrow gauge trestle (made by burning real wood strips).

Bridge has been scratch built from wooden strips that have been stained with small nails as bolts on joints.
Bridge abutments are combination of poured concrete (made from plaster) and wooden forms filled with gravel.
Rock formations are created with wire brush on almost dry plaster and painted with several shades of brown color (wash).
There is small proposing scene with car and bear sneaking up to unsuspecting couple on the outer corner of module.

Beneath them, in the canyon, there is a mine shaft with group of dwarfs going into the mine. One inside the shaft is carrying a lamp. Mine has few audio visual effects tide to it. There is sound module that plays explosion sound few times with a pause between them. Every few “normal” blast there is a louder one which causes a smoke to hurdle out of the shaft. Smoke is created by smoke machine and fan forcing it out of the shaft. That louder blast is followed by dwarfs singing Heigh-Ho.

Name of the module means bat canyon after the module owner’s family favorite animal :-).
